Well, I haven’t been updating again because nothing happens -.- (not even during my spring break, isn’t that sad? =w= )

So then now that I’m updating (and by the name of the title), you should have probably guessed that something finally happened in my life. It was mostly thanks to the field trip to the zoo for our biology honors class.

My family move a lot, and now that I’ve grown older, we have never been to the zoo here. That’s why I was pretty excited for this. …and the fact that I love animals.

Um, it was really fun overall. My favorite part was the baby white tiger cubs and the meerkats. There was also a petting zoo and jungle gym, although I didn’t have time for the petting zoo ;w; . It was also a pretty good day to finally talk to many people that we couldn’t talk to because we didn’t have any classes together (the whole school’s bio honors classes went). Oh god, I really loved that part actually. There was this guy who’s this great artist and I got so many tips on how to draw stuff from him on the way there. He also gave me the location of a great art supplies store OwO (now that I think about it, I should start drawing more too…)

However, while we were there, we had to fill out this packet. It wasn’t long or hard…it was just that we had to run around and find all the answers before we go back to school. That meant that most of our time there, we couldn’t even really see the animals that much. In fact, we arrived at the zoo at about 9:30-9:45 and ran around trying to complete the packet until 12. We had to go at around 1:15, meaning we only had an hour or so to actually enjoy the place.

I think everyone agreed that the trip could have been a lot more fun without the packet…

Anyway, it was still fun and everything, but now I have a ton of make up work from the other classes =w= So I guess after the update, I’ll go finish them.

But before I go…
A second thing happened today! (That must be a new record)
I’ve known this for a while, but it finally happened today. teehee

Well, our school has this math society (Mu Alpha Theta), and I guess to them I’m good at math (actually I guess I am, though a lot of people are smarter than me). So I was invited to join the club, and tonight was the welcoming ceremony thing.

It was basically a few speeches about the club and math, and how math is applied in real life. Then, the new members got their certificates and we all went out to eat a few cookies and brownies. Um, it’s not that I don’t like cookies and brownies (in fact, I love chocolate) but everything was just…too sweet to my tastes. After a while, I just left lol…

But that’s about it for now. I really wish more stuff could happen like today, even though it probably won’t happen for a while. Now that this reflection of my day is over, I’ll stop standing still and get back to work =w=
